We started Vision SmartNet in 2021 because we saw a gap. People in Taiwan wanted to understand blockchain's role in finance, but most resources were either too technical or too vague. We wanted something different.

Look, blockchain in finance isn't going anywhere. Banks in Taiwan are exploring it. Payment systems are evolving. And people need to understand what's actually happening beyond the buzzwords.
We've worked with financial institutions, tech companies, and curious individuals who want real knowledge. Not hype. Not promises of overnight success. Just solid, practical education about distributed ledger technology, smart contracts, and how these concepts apply to real financial systems.
Our approach is straightforward. We break down complex topics into digestible lessons. We use examples from actual implementations. And we're honest when something is theoretical versus what's actually being used in production environments today.

The People Behind the Platform
We're a small team based in New Taipei City. Everyone here has worked in either finance or technology, and most of us have done both. That background shapes how we teach.
Liora Tamura
Spent eight years in banking technology before joining us. She structures our curriculum and makes sure we're not oversimplifying complex concepts or making them unnecessarily complicated.
Saskia Verbeke
Writes most of our technical materials. Background in software engineering and financial systems architecture. She's good at explaining why certain blockchain approaches work better than others in specific contexts.
Four Years of Learning Together
Since 2021, we've watched blockchain move from experimental projects to actual implementations in Taiwan's financial sector. Our curriculum has evolved with it.
We started with just three courses focused on basic concepts. Now we offer specialized tracks covering payment systems, asset tokenization, regulatory frameworks, and technical architecture. Each addition came from requests from students working on real projects.
