Blockchain Finance Professional Program
We built this program after watching too many finance professionals struggle to understand blockchain's real applications. Not the hype—the actual tools reshaping how institutions move money, verify transactions, and build trust across borders.

Linnea Westergaard
Blockchain Implementation Specialist
Spent six years helping banks in Scandinavia move from proof-of-concept to production blockchain systems. I've seen what works and what's just expensive theater. Most of my time now goes into teaching professionals how to evaluate blockchain projects without falling for marketing claims.
Siobhan Mulcahy
Financial Systems Architect
Built settlement systems for cross-border payments before blockchain existed. When distributed ledgers arrived, I had to learn them—not because they solved everything, but because they solved specific, expensive problems. I teach the gap between traditional finance infrastructure and blockchain protocols.
What You'll Actually Learn
Foundation Module (Weeks 1-4)
- Cryptographic basics for finance professionals who never took computer science
- How consensus mechanisms work and why different industries pick different ones
- Smart contract logic without learning to code (we'll read contracts, not write them)
- Real tokenization case studies from securities, commodities, and real estate
Application Module (Weeks 5-10)
- Cross-border payment systems and when blockchain actually reduces costs
- Trade finance applications and the documentary credit blockchain experiments
- Central bank digital currencies and what they mean for commercial banking
- Regulatory frameworks across major markets (you need to know this before proposing anything)
- Integration challenges with legacy systems—this is where most projects fail
Practical Assessment (Weeks 11-12)
- Evaluate a real blockchain proposal using frameworks from the course
- Present business case analysis to finance professionals from partner firms
- Build implementation timeline accounting for regulatory and technical constraints
Where Participants Go After
From Corporate Treasury to Blockchain Lead
Kjetil joined from a treasury role at a logistics company. Six months after completing the program in early 2024, he proposed a blockchain solution for their letter of credit process. The proposal got funded. By late 2024, he was leading the implementation team.
Follow-up: Still leading that project in 2025, now consulting with two other divisions exploring blockchain applications.
Banking Operations to Digital Asset Specialist
Freja worked in operations at a regional bank. Finished the program in mid-2024, then spent three months applying to roles. Got hired as a digital asset specialist at a custody provider. She now helps institutional clients understand blockchain security requirements.
Follow-up: Recently promoted to senior specialist role after successfully onboarding three major clients.
Next Program Session
We run this program twice yearly with small cohorts. The next session starts September 2025. Applications close when we reach 24 participants.
